Journal History

Textile Topics has been published for many years by Texas Tech University. It was initiated to reports news related to natural fibers such as cotton, wool, and mohair. Then progresses to focus only on cotton fibers. It reported news related to cotton fibers testing, textile processing, students, and research topics of interest. Since about 2000, Textile Topics included one research paper in every issue.

The name is now changed to Cotton and Textile Topics to cover news and research on cotton (production, harvesting, ginning, testing, processing, dyeing, and finishing).
